An Explanation Of SEO, Otherwise Known As Search Engine Optimization
You’ve heard the term but are not quite sure of its meaning. In case you’re looking at this article, you’re bound to know nothing about SEO www.bestseocmpany.org.uk.
There’s no need to worry as you will be learning something new.
To put in simpler terms: it gets your site “Out there”.
A Myth About SEO
Throughout the World Wide Web lies a common myth: That if you apply all the best SEO techniques to your site, search engines like Google and Yahoo will automatically rank you very high, this is not true. Applying SEO will NOT guarantee you more traffic or get you ranked higher in search engines.
Why this is, your guess is as good as mine. There are so many variables involved in the SEO process that it’s nearly impossible to say, “Yep. That’s the reason right there. Fix that and you’ll get more traffic.” This is a very complicated process which demands your regular fine-tuning.
Search Engine Operation Explained
Internet search engines aren’t human beings. There isn’t a team of collaborators analyzing your site and deciding if it should get ranked good or bad. This is not how it works.
Rather, search engines utilize crawlers for scanning websites. Web crawlers are known as spiders, a type of software that searches content for relevancy. Some spiders may visit your site twice a month or twice a year, there’s really no telling.
After the creepy crawlies have completely scanned your site they position it accordingly. The fact that these are machines is an important thing to keep in mind. They cannot think like human beings. They programmed to do a specific job and nothing else. A spider is not going to suddenly decide to rescan a site to see if it can get the index to go up just because it was a good site.
SEO is something that it is wise to practice regularly. When you optimize your search engine, it may not come off well for the first couple of days. The only option is to apply what you have learned in a hope that it succeed, blog.
